Ben Doxtator

Ben Doxtator is a 14 year old Mohawk from Kanehsatake, currently living in Kahnawake. He has been practicing Kenpo karate since 2002. He began at the Kenpo Oka school with Sensei Guy St. Pierre. In 2004 Ben moved to Kahnawake and began studying karate at Lachine Kenpo with Eight time World Champion Danny Griffith . In 2008 Ben earned his brown belt in karate. He has competed each year and has consistently done well at regional tournaments. In September 2009, Ben competed at the WKA Nationals and placed third in Continuous fighting earning a bronze medal. He also placed fourth in point sparring. Ben earned a spot on the Canadian National team and is now set to compete in Spain at the end of October 2009.  Ben looks forward to representing Canada and the Mohawk People at this prestigious International Event.
